Should You Friend Your Students on Facebook?

Since Facebook is becoming more and more popular, huge concern on privacy also raises. Now there are more than 600 million people on Facebook. I am on Facebook. Most probably you are on Facebook too. In some countries some schools are taking this “being friend with the students on facebook” thing seriously. I heard many school management strongly prohibit their teachers to add theirs students friend on Facebook.

According to the statistics 28% of teachers described being sent unwelcome messages.

* The Georgia High School teacher resigned after being threatened with suspension due to her public vacation pictures of her with alcohol.
